- Check that the objects are REALLY grouped, do a QuickRender in Detail (you
- extruded the object? maybe the side faces weren't generated), do a Join or
- Merge of all object elements (warning: it'll 'glue' your faces/polygons so
- later it'll be hard to select them apart, so save a copy first) so it's a
- single object...
-
- Personally, I only use Pixel3D for converting from Imagine to Lightwave
- format; the bitmap conversion always let me unsatissfied and I ended up
- touching up the object for too much time. I've found the built-in bitmap
- conversion on Imagine 3.0 to be far cleaner than Pixel's. I create the
- object to be extruded in DPaint in Hi-res laced, 2 colors, as big as it
- fits on screen (if it has a lot of detail, that is , if it's a simple one
- a 2/3 screen size works ok), save it to RAM, load it on Imagine's Detail
- with Object/Convert IFF/ILBM, and most of the times, the resulting object
- needs little touch-up...
